P.S. Of course it’s worth it. The whispering and mumbling awe inspired hour looking and seeing is pure magic. P.P.S. Review your art history before you go in so your nose isn’t stuck in a phone or book while gazing at history itself and so you’re not staring at the extra 3 euro ‘multi media’ rented screen and listening through headphones instead of hearing like minded astounded voices speaking in a language you don’t know echoing with the ages. #masolino #masaccio #florence
So much stuff, people, history, questions, memories of 25 years ago with Tim Norris’s @mecaart history tour (Robert Anderson, Cathy Schroeder and Peter, John and Chesley, I’m thinking of all of you, missing Tim and Robert especially-[rest in peace, boys-the silence in chapel corners are for you my beautiful friends and curious travelers]).
